L'Association Française de la Flûte 'La Traversière' a été fondée à Lyon en 1983, et est installée en région parisienne depuis 1991. Elle a pour but de rassembler le plus grand nombre de flûtistes, tant amateurs (depuis les plus jeunes élèves, et un magazine 'junior' est en préparation) que professionnels (enseignants, musiciens d'orchestre, solistes internationaux …), adeptes des instruments anciens ou de la flûte Boehm, et de leur procurer un véritable moyen de communication et d'information. |

The British Double Reed Society is a non-profit-making organisation established to further the interests of all involved with the oboe and bassoon. The BDRS acts as a national forum for debate and the exchange of ideas, information and advice on all aspects of double reed instruments. It also fulfils an important rôle in encouraging greater interest in the instruments, and securing their place in the wider cultural and educational environment. |

CANADIAN VIOLA SOCIETY
It is a society for violists and viola enthusiasts. Among its members are many well-known professional violists as well as those who play solely for their own enjoyment. The object of the Society shall be to promote, study and further the research and performance of the viola and its repertory; to help the instrument attain its rightful recognition through an increased awareness of the heritage and literature of the viola, and a better appreciation of the viola's unique role. |

The Consortium of Violin & Bow Makers Antonio Stradivari of Cremona was founded by nearly seventy violinmakers and bowmakers in Cremona and its province to promote modern violinmaking according to the Classical tradition established by the great masters of the past, Stradivari, Guarneri del Gesù and others. |
