Göttingen Handel Festival

42 concerts and numerous activities are scheduled for this year’s Göttingen Handel Festival, an event which having been founded in 1920 can claim to be the longest-running baroque music festival in the world. Although its overriding purpose has always been the rediscovery and dissemination of the music of George Friedrich Handel, the festival also provides a platform for other baroque composers.
