Bach and the best representative of the German-Danish musical culture of the Baltic Sea, which was at its peak at the time. His output doesn’t bear the stamp of a genius, thanks to which the great composers took the style of their time to its highest level of perfection, but that of a musical culture that far exceeded the limits of mere craftsmanship.
