| This is an intriguing release of music post-dating the expulsion of the Jesuits from Bolivia. It was composed in the former Jesuit reductions of the Chiquitos and Moxos, and centres around a grand loa, dating from 1790, in honour of Charles IV and María Luisa de Bourbon. |
