Besides his name, that appears in the manuscripts, we only know about his existence because we find him in the records of the chapel of the Duc de Calabria in 1546 where he appears as "writer of books." Besides this fact, his relation with this chapel is shown to us through the situation of his works.
Although he lived in Valencia and was possibly Valencian, we don't know anything about his relations with the main religious centers, his work environment was the Royal Palace, where the Duke-Viceroy lived.
Among his few preserved works, there are religious and secular villancicos, and also liturgical pieces, possibly created for religious ceremonies at the Palace.
They are conserved in two manuscripts, one called "Cangoner de Gandia," and in the Cançoner del Duc de Calabria and even a ensalada "La Trulla" in the book of Ensaladas published in 1581 by Mateu Fletxa "the young" in Prague.
