   ANNEGRET SIEDEL
Annegret Siedel studied violin at the Hanns Eisler Hochschule für Musik in Berlin, becoming the first female violinist in the orchestra of the Komische Oper in Berlin and in the Mozarteum Orchester Salzburg.

She broadened her musical training with Michael Vogler in Berlin and Ernst Kovacic in Vienna. She studied baroque violin with Ingrid Seifert and Hiro Kurosaki, as well as historical performance practice with Nikolaus Harnoncourt at the Universität Mozarteum in Salzburg.

Alongside her concert activities as soloist, chamber musician and concertmaster of baroque orchestras in Vienna, Basle, Hamburg, Stuttgart, Salzburg amongst others, she teaches masterclasses in baroque violin. Numerous radio and CD recordings, as well as concerts at world-renowned festivals show her to be a violinist with a broad repertoire. In 1995 she founded the Bell’ Arte Salzburg early music ensemble, in whose repertoire music from South Germany and Austria enjoys a special role. Since 2001 she has taught a baroque violin class at the Konservatorium in Hamburg.
