  ALLA POLACCA
Alla Polacca was founded by graduates of several music colleges who came together at the Cologne Conservatory. Here they continued to develop their expertise in historic performance-practice, especially in the realm of chamber music.

The basic group is formed by Iwona Lesniowska (soprano), Paulina Kilarska (harpsichord) and Stanislaw Gojny (theorbo, lute, baroque guitar) of whom all can draw upon year-long experience in the master classes in and outside of Germany, as well as collaborating professionally with leading specialists in the field. The group further honed its skills under the direction of such well known artists as Konrad Junghänel, Barbara Schlick, Kai Wessel, Ketil Haugsand, and Gerald Hambitzer.

In March 2004 Alla Polacca won the Wuppertal Music Competition Concerto barocco for chamber music ensembles specialised in Early Music performance - practice.

Alla Polacca is focused primarily on vocal and instrumental chamber music of 17th century France and Italy. Additional singers and instrumentalists occasionally join the ensemble, according to the demands of the repertoire.
