She was awarded the Miriam Licette Scholarship 2000 for French song, and came second in the 1999 Young Welsh Singer of the Year. Her studies are supported by generous awards from the Arts Council of Wales and the Musicians Benevolent Fund Music Education Awards.
On the concert platform, Angharad has performed extensively in Britain and Europe, under conductors including Ivor Bolton, Sir Roger Norrington, and Roy Goodman. Recent appearances include Bach Jauchzet Gott BWV51 in Birmingham's CBSO Centre, Handel Athalia at St James' Piccadilly, Barber Knoxville: Summer of 1915 with Richard Hickox, Bach B Minor Mass in Kings College Chapel, Cambridge, and Handel Messiah in Spain with Harry Christophers. In 2000 Angharad appeared as a soloist as part of Sir John Eliot Gardiner's Bach Cantata Pilgrimage with the Monteverdi Choir.
She is also in demand as a recitalist with her accompanist Alasdair Beatson, and in February will appear at the Purcell Room in a masterclass on Schumann Lieder with Roger Vignoles. Operatic roles to date include Lucy (Menotti The Telephone), Despina (Mozart Così Fan Tutte) and Giannetta (Donizetti L'Elisir d'Amore), and for 2001, Dorinda (Handel Orlando) with the Cambridge Handel Opera Group.
