   BRIAN ASAWA
Brian Asawa is at the forefront of the current generation of countertenors.

He has appeared with most of the world's leading baroque conductors including William Christie, Christopher Hogwood, Nicholas McGeegan, John Nelson, Marc Minkowski, Christophe Rousset. He has appeared at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, San Francisco Opera, Metropolitan Opera, Cologne Opera, Netherlands Opera.

Future engagements include Fyodor in "Boris Godunov" at the Gran Teatre del Liceu, Sesto in "Giulio Cesare" at the Canadian Opera Company, Tolomeo in "Giulio Cesare" at the Teatro Real Madrid and Houston Grand Opera, Ottone in "L'Incoronazione di Poppea" at the Hamburg State Opera and Prince Orlofsky in "Die Fledermaus" at the San Diego Opera.

Future concert engagements include the Handel Messiah with the Deutsche Philharmonie Bremen, Vienna Musikverein and Handel and Haydn Society, concerts of Vivaldi Cantatas with the Dresden Musikfestpiele and recitals in Santiago de Compostela and Concertgebouw.
