Prior to this, he formed part of the vocal ensemble La Venexiana, with whom he continues to perform regularly. He has also maintained his collaboration with Tom Koopman’s Amsterdam Baroque Orchestra and Fabio Biondi’s Europa Galante. He was Koopman’s pupil at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague, where he completed graduate studies. He has made recordings for various labels and presently boasts an exclusive contract with Glossa. Bonizzoni has been labelled the best keyboard performer of the early Italian Baroque and his playing and interpretative intelligence is currently, second to none. He teaches at music conservatories in Trapani (Italy) and Lugano.
