10 CDS FOR A DESERT ISLAND: ANTOINE GUERBER
Antoine Guerber
Antoine Guerber has directed Diabolus in Musica since 1992.

After ten years of choral experience, he met Dominique Touron, the founder of the Bordeaux Ensemble, and Dominique Vellard, who subsequently became his teacher at the Centre de Musique Médiévale de Paris and in the Early Music Department of the Conservatoire National Supérieur in Lyon.

Since then he has devoted himself exclusively to medieval music. After collaborating with a variety of groups, including Gilles Binchois, Ensemble Organum, Perceval and Jacques Moderne, Antoine Guerber moved to the Touraine region and founded his own ensemble with the goal of discovering unpublished repertoire.

Teaching now also occupies an ever-growing part of his time (Fondation Royaumont, Maîtrise de la Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Paris).
