14 September to 26 October 2008. The Ribeauvillé Festival has remained faithful to the same format since it was founded in 1984, with seven early and baroque music concerts taking place in the three churches of the town on each of the seven weekends falling between mid-September and late October.
13 September to 19 October 2008. The Festival Baroque de Pontoise is now in its 23rd year, and faithful to its artistic ethic it continues to favour music’s dialogue and encounters with the other arts. Devoted to the musical universe of the baroque, the presence of theatre, dance and even cinema will be strongly felt in the festival, with over 20 concerts, shows and activities making up the programme.
20 to 31 August 2008. More than 30 concerts given by a thousand French and European musicians (early and baroque music ensembles, choirs, and several symphony orchestras) will make up the 42nd La Chaise-Dieu Festival, which takes place this year from 20 to 31 August.
