Making his ENO conducting debut is Christian Curnyn who takes charge of a unrivalled cast of Handelian singers led by Rosemary Joshua in the title role, alongside John Mark Ainsley and Patricia Bardon, all of whom previously triumphed in ENO’s Semele, and Christine Rice, an outstanding performer in ENO’s recent Agrippina.
