“I hope the fact that I am visible, in front of the audiences, occasionally performing, will help the Festival Music Society trust me to hire great groups”, Cudek said in a recent press release. The festival already has a reputation of featuring fine ensembles including this summer’s notables: Hesperus, Caprice and the Boston Camerata.
Cudek started his musical training as a rock guitarist and is now the director of the early music program at the Peabody Institute at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. See www.emindy.org for more information on the Indianapolis Early Music Festival.
